Bill Littlefield is the retired long-time host of NPR’s weekly sports magazine program, “Only a Game,” and the author of several books on sports, two novels, and two collections of his radio and magazine commentaries. A graduate of Yale University and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Littlefield began broadcasting sports commentary on WBUR (Boston) in 1984. He is the author of a new novel, Mercy, to be published in July by Black Rose Writing
